Notch Integration

For Bad Omens’ Do You Feel Love Tour, with creative direction by STURDY., we served as the Notch designers and integrators for the 2025 UK run of the show. We developed a suite of real-time Notch camera looks for the production, including treatments originally created for the band’s festival performances of “Specter” and “Impose,” as well as a dedicated content piece for “Specter.” These looks were later integrated into the full touring production alongside the broader Notch system, with the visual package continuing into the US run the following year.

For Bad Omens’ Do You Feel Love Tour, with creative direction by STURDY., we served as the Notch designers and integrators for the 2025 UK run, developing the real-time camera systems and visual treatments that would become part of the show’s live visual language. The project built on work we had previously developed for the band’s festival run, where we created Notch camera looks for “Specter” and “Impose” alongside a dedicated content piece for “Specter.” These initial looks established a visual direction for the live camera system and provided a foundation that could be expanded into the larger touring production.

As the show moved into its full production, we developed additional Notch camera looks and integrated the complete system into the touring environment. The existing “Specter” and “Impose” treatments were carried forward from the festival performances and incorporated into the full show alongside the new looks, creating continuity between the band’s festival appearances and the larger touring production. The real-time system allowed the camera to become an active part of the visual content, with treatments designed to complement the darker, highly stylized aesthetic of the show while responding directly to the live performance.

Our work encompassed both the design and technical integration of the Notch system, taking the looks from creative development through live implementation for the UK tour. The resulting visual package continued beyond the initial UK run, with the Notch camera looks carrying forward into Bad Omens’ US run the following year. This created a flexible real-time visual system that could evolve with the production while maintaining a consistent visual language across the different stages of the tour.
